Oh, Look Out!

Just a quick update, as I promised myself I would not neglect this thing or allowed myself to be discouraged by the fact that no one even knows it's up.

I am currently coloring issue 9 of OURS! and awaiting an invoice for issue 7 from Ka-Blam so I can pay for it to be printed and hold a copy in my hands!

I now am a regular contributor to Cheeseburger Enterprises, a web comic collective founded by a really cool dude named Brandon Schaaf.

Warner (Swopes) and I are throwing out lots of ideas for The Last Movie Ever here lately. Hopefully we can start writing a script soon.

Into the Twilight, Endlessly (verb)ing

In light of the fact that the Boon Periodicals and PMF websites will soon be up and running, I have begun a blog to be sort of a sister, companion page to them. I will link periodically between the three when it's fitting to do so.
So as far as this first post goes, let's keep it simple. For those of you who don't know:

-I'm Ryan Everett Felton.
-I write films sometimes.
-I write comic books sometimes.

I've been rather busy lately with school and work and various projects, so all of this has been sort of slow going. But I do have my fingers dipped in all sorts of various pies, and here's a taste:

OURS! is a comic book series I write and Joshua Hendrickson draws. We're on about issue 8 now, with a trade paperback collection of issues 1-6 due out by the end of this year. More on that in future posts, I'm sure.



THE LUMPISH ONE is a comic book Josh and I used to produce, and now it's an animated film we're producing. I'll have a lot to say about that later, too, surely.

This is a film I've been working on, which is the third in a series and is in what we call Development Hell. However, I'm confident things will pick up eventually and we'll have a fun little flick - an end to a trilogy, in fact - on our hands sooner or later.
